Health & Safety role:
• As Health & Safety Coordinator you will be developing and executing health and safety duties to departments, visitors and contractors.
• Work with our internal Procurement team to source appropriate PPE.
• Ensure appropriate PPE allocated to employees and it is worn in designated areas by all employees, contracts and visitors.
• Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions.
• Investigate accidents or incidents.
• Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures.
• Report on health and safety awareness, issues and statistics.
• Provide safety documentation for customers and complete external safety audit requests to legal requirements.
• Undertake any other duties to support the needs of the business.
Health & Safety Coordinator requirements:
• Previous experience in a H&S position.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with a wide variety of contacts.
• Computer literacy - Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
